Description

The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead and support a wide range of marketing and growth projects and programs (strategy and day-to-day) that benefit the procurement services providers (PSPs) and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) within the Avendra Group organization, a division of Aramark. We are looking for a strong general marketer with a growth mindset, and this person should also bring some special marketing skills to round out the team, such as: strong digital marketing background and ideas (marketing automation, email service providers, content management systems, framework/experience with developing/managing "Martech stack", etc.), content management strategy, and execution, strategic marketing/competitive assessment skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital marketing - Support the development of the Avendra Group "Martech stack" to help guide the strategy and use of our tools across campaigns and programs and raise the business case for new tools needed. Directly manage different digital tools and campaigns to support growth initiatives. Experience with various KPI measures for performance of various products in use, to prove effectiveness, trends, issues, etc.

  • Content management - Help tell the story, expand brand awareness, generate interest by contributing to and leading various components of the divisions content management strategy

  • Help manage integrated marketing efforts including compiling prospect lists, creating messaging, overseeing campaign landing pages, email outreach and lead nurturing, managing digital assets including public and customer websites and social media channels, overseeing logistics of events and conferences, and other assigned marketing activities.

  • Be a centralized point of competitive monitoring, training, translation for the GPO/PSP business. Including centrally managing information, coordinating how information is shared out into the organization and with different brands, managing information being fed back in. Develop action plans, analyze options, create recommendations. Developing related materials (ideas for bolstering offering vs. competitive market, messaging)

  • Lead/support various growth projects to support new market entry endeavors, new product development and other strategic projects as needed

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience. 8+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, communications, or related field.

  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter that can figure out what needs to be done and executes

  • Ability to solve problems in a proactive manner

  • Experience in developing strong relationships within and outside of the organization

  • This role will work with cross-functional teams and external resources to drive day-to-day marketing activities. This means you will be a strong project manager and adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments and teams

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation

  • Prior experience with range of marketing and sales enablement tools: e.g. WordPress, SharePoint, Adobe, Photoshop, HubSpot/Market/Acoustic, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc.
