Job Description:
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing effective, intuitive interfaces that contribute to seamless experiences across our mobile and web touchpoints. This is a Senior level position, working remotely.
Essential Functions:
Create inspired, effective interfaces and experiences
Champion both design and design process by presenting work cross-functionally and effectively articulating design rationale to gather stakeholder buy-in
Manage the end-to-end product building experience from project set up, to product design and development across our company initiatives
Perform large scale IA exercises and identify user flows translating to personas to improve workflows and usability in large scale interfaces
Quickly experiment and iterate on interface and interaction concepts from stakeholder feedback and data analytics
Required Skills/Experience:
BA/BS degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related/equivalent practical experience
Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. XD, Sketch & Users Testing Tools)
Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal)
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines
Strong communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to build good working relationships
Solid portfolio, showcasing excellent web, mobile and digital interface design for projects for which you served as the lead Product Designer
The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
Preferred Skills/Experience:
7+ years of experience
Advanced proficiency in UX design, prototyping and user testing tools such as XD, Sketch, Invision, CSS, Maze, Validately, etc
Expertise in behavioral sciences such cognitive psychology. Specifically, motivations and decision-making
Experience working with CMS or custom management interfaces for developers
Ability to determine and work at the right level of fidelity for a given situation. You should be comfortable communicating ideas visually from a whiteboard, a sketchpad, wireframes, and visual concepts
Ability to identify design process gaps or inefficiencies and contribute to improvements
Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process
Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
