ManTech is seeking a journey level software engineer/programmer to become an integral part of our Combat Integration and Identification Systems Engineering team. Successful candidates will conduct innovative software development solutions in support of NCTR radar identification systems, working as part of an integrated engineering team to design, develop, integrate, test, and certify complex software applications for Aegis ship-based applications for our customer at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigoes, MD. This position offers the opportunity to work on an integrated development team software design and development including all phases of the software development life-cycle.
Design, develop, and integrate complex software applications, including simulation capabilities for algorithm development and testing.
Analyze technology/capability gaps, research, develop, and deploy software solutions
Supports development and maintenance of test-beds and simulation software used for system testing and training.
Supports development and testing at customer's facility and on target platforms.
Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
Conduct integration, test, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities
Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field
3-8 years of experience in software development
Strong background and applied experience in SW engineering with C/C++
Applied experience programming in a Linux environment
Must have an active secret clearance and be able to attain a TS/SCAP
Working knowledge of digital signal processing and experience with programming in C/C++ for real-time systems.
Experience performing C++ development in a Linux environment
Experience with MATLAB, MATLAB Compiler, Signal Processing, and Statistics & Machine Learning
Experience using GPU/CUDA for parallel programming
Experience with FPGA Programming
