Jacobs Project Manager in Severn, Maryland

In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of relatively small technical projects or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company processes and procedures.
Working projects from original design development through final implementation.
Attending project meetings, responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Provides the coordination between managers/supervisors and other teams.
Reports to Program Manager.
May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
Works with Planning to manage material requisitioning and status of materials to meet schedules.
Responsible for the preparation of and accountability for all contract deliverables.
Efficient at MS Office, MS Project and Excel.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to show initiative and deal with fast-paced environment.
Self-starter able to manage one’s own work.
Ability to multi-task and work multiple projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of manufacturing activities, purchasing/material requisitioning.
Experience in pricing and scheduling.
Technical knowledge of ruggedized electronic packaging components and manufacturing processes.
MS Project Certification or completion of MS Project training.
PMP Certification or other related certification.
