ManpowerGroup Product Manager in Smithsburg, Maryland

An established manufacturing business in Washington County is seeking a Product and Sales professional that is ready to take on oversight of a lucrative product line and grow their career into executive leadership.

As the Product Manager you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Customer Service teams to provide exceptional products and service to loyal clients around the globe. You will implement business development strategies and use online media and interactive resources to pursue and maintain client relationships.

As the Product Manager you will:

 Represent the organization in a specialized line of industrial products

 Address company goals by meeting or exceeding budget targets

 Pursue sales opportunities with prospective and existing clients

 Develop new leads within the industry and collaborate tactically with executive leadership

 Increase customer awareness of product potentials and industrial or retail applications

 Coordinate with the Marketing team to update collateral sales materials and web pages

 Travel up to 15% of the time

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)

  • Have residency within 30 minutes of Hagerstown, MD

  • Have 5 years of industrial B2B sales or business development experience

  • Have a general understanding of the manufacturing environment and client

  • Have exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Be customer-centric and invested in your client's evolving needs

  • Be available for occasional overnight travel, 2-5 days/month

  • Be able to successfully self-manage with integrity and have a strong work ethic

  • Be proficient in MS Office suite and a CRM platform

  • Have experience with social media and interactive e-commerce platforms

This position offers:

 Competitive starting salary of $80-85,000 annually with up to 20% annual bonus
