ManTech is currently seeking a Vehicular Power Engineer, whose Primary responsibilities will include providing support to the configuration and testing of vehicular power and mechanical elements and operations, in support of transportable communications systems from multiple vendors.
The Vehicular Power Engineer functions as the lead support for power and mechanical systems, and should be considered as and industry expert in the field. They are responsible for planning, approving, and coordinating power and mechanical system installations and upgrades, and insuring operational connectivity and support to integrated and supportive networks. They will develop and provide service to preventative maintenance and sustainability reviews, and have ability to interpret and make changes to blueprints and operational concepts and requirements in dynamically changing environments.
The Vehicular Power Engineer will support the following strategic activities: identifying, analyzing, defining, and coordinating user, customer, and stakeholder needs and translating them into technical or operational requirements for the research, development, production, and/or procurement of processes, systems, and services.
The Vehicular Power Engineer independently develops and applies advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems; interfaces and coordinates with internal groups, and a variety of contractors across multiple projects; and provides establishment and management of multiple budgets for project(s) assigned.
