About the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to support improvement of existing processes, design, to reduce cost, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and develop best practices within processes in Finance, Commercial and other SBD Functions. The main focus of the team is to partner with the key stakeholders of processes to visualize the existing state of the process and determine root causes of issues experienced and implement corrective action which may include the elimination of non-value-added work, the implementation of Intelligent Automation, Advanced Data Analytics, ERP/System Enhancements among others. The Senior Manager, Process Engineering is a part of the corporate operations staff driven to identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions that improve process capability, margin performance and productivity of various corporate and business unit teams. The successful candidate will “office” in one of the Corporate locations but will also need travel to other locations, as needed, to manage continuous improvement projects.
This role is an integral part of the APO Process Engineering Team and will serve as a liaison between Business Unit (BUs), Information Technology (IT), Global Shared Services (GSS), Finance, Global Supply Chain (GSM), Tax/Stat, Chief Accounting Office (CAO) and the Competency Center (CC).
Provide strategic guidance on process and deliverables.
Support corporate and business functions in improving process reliability and performance.
Facilitate process/continuous improvement. Identify cost-savings and process improvement projects and move them from concept to implementation.
Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems and process improvements that optimize all phases of processes (financial and non-financial); be actively involved in the development and implementation of long-term improvement plans.
Create Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Standard Operating Procedures and performance documentation
Lead, cost, estimate and document all recommended process changes.
Provide financial inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action.
BS degree in Business, marketing, Finance or Engineering
Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification required (Black Belt preferred)
8+ years of experience in customer focused role (Commercial, Manufacturing or Engineering)
Project management experience
ERP system experience (SAP Preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending and writing accompanying commentary
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively throughout a highly-matrixed organization
