You will play a pivotal role with success of the training and develop programs within the NA Sales & Marketing team, through management and coordination between the technological capabilities of the Digital Operations Team and the Stanley Black & Decker University Training Team. You’ll also have:
3+ years training and development experience.
Project management experience preferred
Sales skills/experience is a plus
Strong problem solver; results-oriented; collaborative working style
Analytical, observing, and listening skills necessary for success and strategy development
Able to develop and deliver technical training assets and programs for support teams.
Working knowledge with Learning Management Systems and technology used to support trainings, as per process, maintenance and compliance; forward thinking
Knowledge of traditional and current training tools and techniques.
Continuous improvement mindset and approach.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Highly organized and able to multi-task effectively.
Creative and adaptive thinker.
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong organizational and planning skills
What You’ll Do
As the Sales Enablement Training Lead, you’ll be part of our North America Commercial Transformation team located in Towson, MD, however, the role is remote. This individual will work with Sales/Marketing Managers, Leadership, and company stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and technologically enable training programs within North America, with the ability to scale globally. This role will work to maximize efficiencies through training-related productivity programs. This may include the development of new training curriculums, conducting trainings with specific employee groups, or the adoption of new technologies to improve the learning experience. Specifically, you’ll:
Drive development, maintenance, and enhancements of training materials and through the functionality of the training programs
Coordinate and improve course registration process and communications.
Forecast training needs and ensure training resources and facilities are available to meet demands.
Ensure training programs meet or exceed targets for training effectiveness and satisfaction metrics.
Adjust/improve current curricula to scale and maximize efficiencies
Improve current training strategies, including tier-based programs aligned with levels identified for sales orgnaization
Ensure training records are properly maintained and easily accessible for traceability and audit purposes.
