The Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division of SBD, which drives $10B of the total $14B business, is currently seeking a Senior Brand Strategist on the CRAFTSMAN brand. This position will report to the CRAFTSMAN Group Brand Manager, as part of the Global Customer Experience (GCX) team. This position will develop the strategic marketing plans and lead the flawless execution of the plans into market to reach specific target audiences and drive brand awareness, consideration, and advocacy.

5+ years’ experience in a B2B or B2C marketing or brand management role
Excellent strategic planning and analytical capability
Experience developing and leading brand marketing campaigns
Proficiency using PowerPoint and strong presentation skills
Communicates and works effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally
Demonstrated knowledge of product planning and market research
Strong business acumen, including financial/budget management skills
Able to direct flawless execution with attention to detail
Open, agile mindset and approach, and a bias towards action
Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, and development of others
What You’ll Do
We are seeking an enthusiastic leader, who will be proactive and work cross-functionally with the business and GCX teams to develop and execute disruptive marketing solutions. You will join a marketing team that is responsible for setting the brand’s global strategic vision and brand identity and develop the annual marketing plans and campaigns to support product innovation each year. To make this happen, we outline clear strategies at the beginning of the year, but also adjust quickly to changing realities. The Senior Brand Strategist manages major brand initiatives and campaigns in addition to day to day work processes for product category initiatives. Strategic thinking, attention to detail and on time delivery are crucial.
Lead marketing campaign process that delivers on target insights, benefit, and brand equity
Develop strategic go-to-market plans and execute across traditional and digital media and in-store environments to set up CRAFTSMAN for growth
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to set the brand strategy and vision, seek out new ideas, and drive engagement and relevancy for the CRAFTSMAN brand
Ensure compliance of the brand standards and maintain consistency of all communication elements across marketing-based activities
Deliver brand projects on time, on budget, and with excellence
Effectively work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal teams, from studio to insights to our channel/commercial and product team partners
Partner with the research team to gain insight into how our user segments experience the brand to create user-based benefit driven campaigns for core and new product categories
Work closely with internal sales/channel teams to recommend and develop ways for the brand to partner and drive business growth at key retailers
