Who You Are

  • A minimum of five plus (5+) years of Product, Sales and/or Marketing experience within the Retail space with a record of demonstrated achievement

  • Effective project management skills; strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid analytical skills with good understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.

  • Conflict management and problem-solving abilities

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required; Knowledge of SalesForce, SAP, BW, Ariba a plus

  • Strong attention to detail; strong multi-tasking ability; and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

  • Knowledge of Power Tool Accessories, Metal & Plastic Storage categories as well as experience with National Retailers are pluses

What You’ll Do

This position is responsible for directing and coordinating strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business. The Sr Channel Marketing Manager will have overall responsibility for the profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising and new product plans for key growth categories within National Retail channel. Specifically, you’ll:

  • Learning and understanding the Channel P&L to make sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines

  • Working with Sales team in collaboration with Product, Brand, Supply Chain and Finance to develop strategic initiatives

  • Presenting new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to Amazon and Marketplaces buyers and successfully executing market communication plans and new product launches

  • Interfacing with Brand Marketing team for production of point of purchase materials

  • Analyzing and tracking POS, Inventory, Market Share, Competitive Landscapes

  • Tracking program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements as required

  • Working closely with the Sales & Finance team to manage listings to maximize sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities and pricing actions
