Position Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst – GTS NA Retail is responsible for providing financial counsel and performance analysis for the $1.3B+ North America National Retail business. This position will be responsible for the Mass Merchants customer group, working closely with the Director and Manager of the team to deliver sales and operating margin targets for the business.
Scope / Responsibilities
Be a key decision maker on pricing and promotional decisions
Partner with sales and channel marketing to drive overall commercial strategy
Support recurring financial rhythms (i.e. monthly close, forecast, annual budget)
Measure and drive customer profitability and assist in margin expansion initiatives
Continually evaluate process and control improvement opportunities
Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the business
Develop financial models to analyze promotional effectiveness and initiatives to drive growth within the Mass Merchants customer group
Work cross-functionally to communicate insights and develop strategies regarding point of sales, promos and future investments to National Retail business partners
Support “Next Horizon” projects and develop reporting/process improvements
Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Results driven individual with emphasis on delivering customer and business commitments
Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct
Ability to present and communicate at all levels with self-confidence
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive projects to completion

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field
3 - 4 years relevant work experience, preferably in corporate finance or commercial finance roles
