Tantus Technologies, Inc. Communications Specialist in Woodlawn, Maryland
Tantus Technologies - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace -is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Communications Specialist for an Enterprise Portfolio Management Organization, providing communications support for our internal team as well as supporting process improvement initiatives across a large vendor community which provides a portfolio of services for our Federal client.
Develop and implement communications campaigns for organizational change such as new methodologies and new tools
Assist teams with stakeholder analysis and messaging
Design and develop artifacts such as training videos, website updates, posters, one-pagers and presentations
Identify improvements in the Communications processes and recommend and implement changes as required
Maintain content on our Atlassian Community portal, keeping information refreshed and interesting to drive use
Provide full life-cycle support for the Community Town Halls including maintenance of a topic backlog, presenter coordination, presentation QA, meeting logistics, session marketing and meeting facilitation
Prepare briefing materials for presentations to various stakeholders
Support project teams by overseeing the development and implementation of project communications and stakeholder management plans
Monitor compliance and provide guidance to each program or project to ensure consistent use of established processes, standards, tools, and best practices
Develop and implement an internal communications plan that emphasizes a knowledge sharing culture and an active and engaged team
4 year degree, preferably in communications or relevant field
3+ years’ experience in communications and training, preferably with an IT organization
Exceptional writing skills with experience in copy-writing and editing
Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
Self-motivated with extreme attention to detail
Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong client relationship skills
Web design and content production experience is a plus
Atlassian toolset experience a plus
Graphic design experience preferred
